A unique show case of the most luxurious and beautiful writing instruments opens at Ogilvy…

Montreal, April 19 2012 – The Essence du papier boutique in Ogilvy’s unveils today a new section showcasing exclusive writing instruments never seen before in Canada. Fountain pens and pens’ aficionados will be absolutely thrilled next time they visit the boutique.

To create this exceptional display, the Essence du papier Ogilvy boutique expanded its floor space by 800 sq. feet for a total of 4500 sq. feet. The boutique will now showcase high end writing instruments from the world’s most sought out brands, in particular Faber Castell’s widest selection of writing instruments in Canada. You will find exclusive items such as Faber Castell’s 2012 Pen, unveiled at the inauguration of the boutique’s new writing instruments display.

« There is an ongoing craze for beautiful writing instruments… », explained Mr. Guy Bélanger, President of the Essence du Papier boutiques during the inauguration, where several business partners and representatives from the world’s finest creators of writing instruments were gathered. « We noticed that our customers are constantly searching for sought out brands and novelties to enhance the pleasure of hand writing. »

M. Schifferens seized the opportunity to unveil the touring exhibition on Faber-Castell’s 250th anniversary, celebrated last year. Today, Faber-Castell is the world leading manufacturer of writing instruments and color pencils. Almost 2 billion are produced each year in its fourteen plants. Its high end items are produced on the historic site of Stein, near Nuremberg in Germany. The exhibition will be held until May in the Ogilvy Essence du papier boutique.
